Environdata’s SA12 Sensor Alarm is a low power microprocessor based device that provides an alarm output (relay contact or FET) based on the sensor or voltage input. The sensor alarm is suitable for Environdata weather sensors, or other environmental sensors.
The Sensor Alarm measures and averages the frequency of the incoming signal and compares this each second to the user-set alarm trip points. A rate control determines the time the input signal must be in an alarm state before setting an alarm condition.
The SA12 has four alarm condition modes:
- If the input is greater than trip point 1.
- If the input is less than trip point 1.
- If the input is greater than trip point 1 and less than trip point 2.
- If the input is less than trip point 1 or greater than trip point 2.
These four alarm condition modes are easily set by internal switches. This level of user control, in combination with the rate control, allows a great deal of flexibility over how an alarm can be set. This means you can control pumps, vents, or almost any other switchable device with ease!
